Low of -4

Canberra is so freaking cold today. I had this massive list of things I had to get done today and I only did one thing on it. Also started working out with my lovely new gym ball and my legs are killing me now. Dear non-existent readers - don't let yourself get as unfit as I am now, its horrible trying to fix it.

Anyway, here is a picture of the tree in my front yard. When I first moved in it had these lovely purple leaves and now its all naked. I love it - every morning when I get up and open the blinds in the lounge room there is a different type of bird in it. Yesterday afternoon there was a parrot, I thought it was crazy (and was amazed there was a parrot in freezing Canberra still) but it had a wonderful time.

Uni...

I've been busy doing uni work all day to finish and submit all my assignments for the end of semester. So glad that crap is over. Bring on the month of freedom. 

But because I have been doing uni work all day my brain has turned to moosh, my eyes are getting blurry and my neck is aching from staring down at my laptop all day. Therefore, I'm posting some photos I took for an assignment - topic was street art, pictures were for a magazine design - a couple of months ago. Hopefully tomorrow my brain will be working and I'll be able to take a new photograph to show you.

First Post

So...my boyfriend has been telling me to get a hobby as I'm always complaining of being bored - I've decided to start this blog as a kind of hobby/expressing myself/being completely and utterly bored. I don't know what I'll write about or even if my blog will have a 'theme' or 'genre' but we'll see when the time comes hey?

This week is my last week of my very first semester of university - studying graphic design. I have no idea if I like it or not. I don't feel talented enough to be doing the course, I'm a complete design noob and all my designs are crappy - but practice makes perfect, right? So as my holidays are starting as of Friday night and my lovely month of complete freedom from study commences I have decided to set myself a challenge - Take a photo and blog about it every day (or as close to every day as I possibly can). I think I may choose a theme a week or some crap like that...keep it interesting and mix it up a little...

Anyway, since I still have an assignment to finish writing and submit by Friday, I'm out!
